Neck pain can be caused by something dramatic, such as a car accident, or more commonly by activities that seem harmless, like sleeping or reading. The neck frequently becomes painful and tight with poor posture, which may eventually result in pain, numbness, or tingling in the arms and hands. For this reason, it is best to resolve neck pain and work on your posture sooner rather than later. Acupuncture helps to relax tight muscles and our acupuncturists will give you great stretches and instruction to maintain great posture.
Back pain is so common that it is estimated that at least 80% of people will be affected by back pain at some point in their lives. It is the second most common cause of missed workdays due to illness. Back pain can affect anyone, whether you are an athlete, gardener, mom, or worker that sits at a desk all day. Muscle imbalances in the low back can contribute to early degenerative processes which will lead to pain, so it is important to take care of that achy low back quickly!

Standing Side Stretch
Opens the sides of the body to stretch the muscles along the sides of the spine.
